Aquamarine Glass Flask (25-176)
25-176. A scarce, molded aquamarine scroll-pattern flask, classified as GIX-37 in McKearin & Wilson, p. 626. The obverse and reverse each display a large central fleur-de-lis flanked by three graduated ribs: the inner and middle ribs terminating in club-shaped ends, the inner pair scrolled at the base, and the outer slender ribs scrolled onto the shoulders. A small eight-pointed star and a diminutive “pearl” device appear below the motif. Half-pint, form #36. Its features include a vertical medial rib, a plain lip with flat collar, and a pontil-marked base retaining an oxide deposit and rough ring, with possible minor ground chips at the lip.
