These comfortable, late 19th-century chairs are sometimes called "firehouse Windsors". But the underside of each seat reveals in black paint that this unique set of four chairs was used by a Masonic Board of Trustees. The original blue paint was subtly enhanced with black line decoration. More importantly, the crest of each chair has a yellow Masonic symbol. The overall height is 29 1/2" and the seat height is 16 1/2". These special chairs provide excellent lower back support, and they are in fine condition.
