19th C. Pennsylvania Chalkware Spaniel

This fine piece of early chalkware is in the form of a poodle dog standing on a base with a paint-decorated tail, great facial features, and black ears. He is lightweight and hollow with a nice aged patina. He is in very good condition with the exception of one very small chip on the bottom edge of the base. A great little piece of chalkware! Measuring 5 1/2" long by 3" deep by 7" tall.
