Few late 19th century "picnic" baskets have survived in such fine condition. The square shape of the sturdy handle is complemented by the outer ends of the two lids. The nice patina is consistent everywhere this basket is examined. The dimensions are 19" long, 12" wide, and 13 1/2" tall with the handle included.
