As if the original, vivid red paint on this basket wasn't enough . . . The skillful maker chose to completely wrap the arched handle as well as the basket's rim. That extra effort produced this rare 9 1/2", round basket, which is 10 1/2" high. There is a single, hard-to-find weaver break, but the overall condition is fine. Late 19th/early 20th century.
