Green Pipe Box— This slender wall box doesn't require much wall space, yet its color and form make a strong visual statement when it is displayed. The green paint is original, the shapely crest is attractive, and the overlapping drawer is dovetailed, and it has its original knob. The most special feature, however, is the dovetailed construction of the vertical front corners. Made in the 19th century, this painted box is 17 1/2" tall, 7 1/2" wide, and 4 3/4" deep. Fine condition.
