Lidded Rye Basket — Very few rye straw baskets were made with a lid. Not only does this basket have a tall, domed lid. Its creative maker added a raised handle that is fully wrapped with a green weaver. And notice the addition of red to the wrapped rim and the raised "foot". This rare basket is 10" tall and 11" wide. Early 1900s. Excellent condition.
