Dark Blue Lidded Treen Container - 23-039.
Treen, carved from hardwood as a round, flat-lidded container, possibly as a spice jar. In the best original dark blue paint. It measures approximately 4.75” in diameter x 1.5” high. In very nice condition, with expected wear and with a wonderful patina. Found in upstate New York and dating to the early-19th century.
