19th C. Maine One Drawer Stand

This wonderful single-drawer stand was hand-crafted by a fine country furniture maker. It is painted in a red wash that has oxidized over time. The one-board, hand-planed top is over a dovetailed and square-nailed drawer with original pull, ending in beautifully turned, delicate legs. The skirt and posts are pegged construction. The table is signed in three places by its maker, "Dutton". There is wear to the paint surface due to age and use. Ca. 1825. Measuring 28 1/2" tall with the top measuring 21" by 20". A fine little Maine country table!

Shipping on all larger items (such as furniture, paintings or heavy-weight items) will be crated and shipped via common carrier at competitive rates. All shipping quotes include insurance coverage against loss or damage. All shipping, packing and insurance costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise agreed upon.

Payment: We accept all major Credit Cards, Personal Checks, Money Orders, Cashier’s Checks and Wire Transfers. Missouri residents and/or persons picking up items from us will be charged sales tax, currently 7.895%, unless a current sales tax exemption number is provided.
