Redware Butter Print— Small, wooden butter prints, that were made to decorate individual butter pats, turn up occasionally. But redware examples, like this fine butter print, are rarer. This late 19th-century print is 1 3/8" wide and long. It is decorated with a finely detailed bird that is perched on a leafy branch. The craftsmanship is wonderful. This rare item is in fine condition with some minor rim flakes.
