Painted Sewing Basket – Reddish-brown original paint fully covers the interior and the exterior of this round basket. In addition to its small handles, this late 19th-century basket has a four-corner, “cat’s head” design in its bottom. A 9 ½” wide, finely woven basket, probably made to hold delicate sewing items.
