Early Pennsylvania Butter Print (24-197)
Very early lollipop butter print, with compass star pattern and a wide tapered slat-type handle. Deeply carved six-point star design with a compass layout and radiant line carved accents. Edge with non-uniform chip carved pattern. The back of the print has a carved “X”. Two small holes were made, one through handle and one in face of print. From PA and dating from the mid-18 th century.
