24-254. A cast iron Pennsylvania Railroad fluid torch. A single cast iron burner with a large, thick, round wick. The torch has a sturdy, reinforced sheet iron handle. The front of the piece is embossed “P R R” and the burner is embossed “1851(?) IX”. Condition: except for the black burner the torch is not painted. It is in very good condition, with no damage or repairs. It is sturdy and very stable. The torch is from PA and dates from the mid-19th century.
