Running Horse Rug — This late 19th-century hooked rug presents the folky design of a running, two-color horse. Its simple figure is surrounded by the rug hooking effort of its skillful maker. The colorful background includes multiple, overlapping portions of what appear to be round, braided table mats. Professionally mounted for wall display, this unique rug is 38" wide and 36" tall. $1,250.
