Small Taconic Basket — This swing-handle basket is only 5 1/2" wide and 3 3/4" tall. It was made in the Taconic region of New York in the late 19th century. The condition is superb; the distinctive handle moves smoothly; the rim is double-wrapped; the bottom has a functional "kicked-up" design; and the patina is beautiful.
