Tall Chest of Drawers — Few 250-year-old, walnut tall chests are as beautiful as this one. This chest’s graduated drawers feature figured walnut and the original brasses. The chest’s surface color is attractive. And the overall proportions are superb: 65 1/2” tall with a case width of only 38”. There are fluted corner columns. Plus, all of the above features are supported by unusually tall, Queen Anne-style feet that are 8 3/4“ high. This PA chest of drawers doesn’t require much floor space, but it can hold a tremendous amount of clothing. Excellent condition.
