Yellow Horse Weathervane --- This fresh-to-the-market, running horse weathervane had been on a barn in southeastern PA. Its "untouched" condition includes a few bullet holes and a very special, "dry", yellow surface. The copper's verdigris surface, which had aged well before the yellow paint was applied, is visible in various areas. Both sides of this full-bodied, 4-inch-wide horse have the same eye-catching beauty. The length is 26" and the overall height is 30 1/4". In fine, as-found condition, this weathervane was made in the late 1800s.
